Lutiania. Convegno a Settembre

Dear colleagues,
its our pleasure to announce that 3rd Lithuanian Geographical Congress, devoted to the 80th anniversary of Lithuanian geographical society, is
going  to take place in Vilnius on the 26-27 of September, 2014.  It is an interdisciplinary event, which will focus on revelation of the
main  trends of development of geographical research in Lithuania and Baltic Sea countries. We are inviting to participate in the Congress those interested
in  the presentation of their newest research targets, methods and results, especially revealing new trends of geographical research of various
physical  and human processes in your country (possibly in the context of other Baltic sea states).
We are inviting you to submit abstracts of your presentations till the 10^th  of March 2014 via e-mail:mailto:kongresas@lgd.lt. The maximum length of
the  presentation is 15 minutes. If the number of submitted presentation exceeds  maximum number of possible participants preference will be given for the
presenters from Baltic Sea countries and topics devoted for less specific cases (the decision will be made until the 1st of April). The special
issue of scientific periodical „Geographical yearbook“ ("Geografijos metraštis"), based on papers presented at the conference, will be
published  after the event. Deadline for the paper submission is the 15th of October, 2014.
The event is free of charge but participants will have to cover travel, self  subsistence and accommodation costs. Participants may be asked to cover
costs  of participation in social events organised during the event (up to 50 Euro).
